Cookie Policy
Draft: not yet in effect
This document is not final. Before it takes effect, Scripveil still has to confirm a contact address for privacy requests, an effective date. Until then, treat what follows as a description of how this website works today, not as a binding legal document.

Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Scripveil marketing website (the Website) uses, why, and what choices you have. It applies only to the Website and forms part of the Privacy Policy.
The Website does not currently set any cookies, and does not store any information in your browser. This policy documents that position and how it was established, so that it can be checked and so that you can see what would change if we ever added anything.
What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to save on your device. It can be sent back to the website on later visits, for example to keep you signed in or to recognise you.
Websites also use similar technologies that store or read information on your device, including:
- local storage and session storage, which let a page keep data in your browser between or within visits;
- IndexedDB and service workers, which can store larger amounts of data and run background code;
- tracking pixels and scripts loaded from other companies, which can report your activity to them; and
- identifiers such as fingerprints built from your device’s characteristics.
Some are strictly necessary for a website to provide a service you have asked for. Others are optional, such as analytics and advertising, and should be used only with your consent.
What this Website uses
This position was established by (i) reviewing the Website’s source code and its dependencies, (ii) checking the response headers of every page and of the early-access form’s server route for any instruction to set a cookie, and (iii) loading every page in a browser, using the navigation menus, the command palette and the early-access form, and recording every network request and everything stored in the browser. This was last done on 24 September 2026. In that review, all requests went to the Website’s own address, no cookie was set, and no local storage, session storage, IndexedDB or service worker was created.
| Technology | Used | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Cookies set by the Website (first-party) | No | The Website never asks your browser to save a cookie. |
| Cookies set by other companies (third-party) | No | No other company’s code, server or content is involved when a page loads. |
| Local storage, session storage, IndexedDB | No | Nothing is saved in your browser. The Website does not remember you between visits. |
| Service workers and offline caching | No | None is registered. |
| Analytics and measurement | No | We do not count visitors or record what you click, read or search for. |
| Advertising, retargeting and tracking pixels | No | None. |
| Session recording, heat maps, A/B testing | No | None. |
| Embedded content (video, maps, social posts, live chat) | No | None. |
| Fingerprinting | No | The Website does not attempt to identify your device from its characteristics. |
| Typefaces | From the Website itself | Newsreader, Plus Jakarta Sans and Cormorant Garamond are delivered from the Website’s own address, not from a font service run by another company. |
| Error monitoring or telemetry | No | None is installed. |
Cookie register
The Website’s cookie register is empty, because it sets no cookies and uses no similar storage. There is therefore no cookie name, provider, duration or consent setting to list.
If a cookie or similar technology is ever added, this register will list for each one:
- its name and the company that provides it;
- its purpose;
- whether it is first-party or third-party;
- its category (for example strictly necessary, preferences, analytics or advertising);
- how long it lasts;
- whether it is strictly necessary and whether it needs your consent; and
- how you can change or withdraw your consent.
Strictly necessary and optional technologies
Strictly necessary. The Website currently needs none. It works fully without storing anything on your device.
Optional (preferences, analytics, advertising). The Website uses none. Because none exists, the Website does not display a cookie banner and there is nothing for you to accept, reject or manage.
Server records and browser cache
Server records. When you load a page, the servers that deliver the Website receive technical details such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type, and may keep ordinary server records. These are not cookies and involve nothing being stored on your device. They are described in the Privacy Policy.
Browser cache. Your browser may keep copies of the Website’s files (its code, images and fonts) so that pages load faster on your next visit. That is your browser’s ordinary file cache. It is controlled by your browser, not by any identifier we assign, and we do not use it to recognise or follow you.
Third-party content and services
The Website does not load content or run code from other companies when you visit. Websites that the Website links to may set their own cookies once you follow the link. Those sites are outside our control and are not covered by this policy.
Consent and cookie settings
A cookie-settings control exists so that visitors can accept or refuse optional technologies and change that choice later. Because the Website uses no optional technologies, it has no such control, and displaying one would wrongly suggest there was something to choose.
Because nothing is stored, no consent is requested, recorded or stored, and there is no consent to withdraw. If we introduce anything that needs consent, a “Cookie settings” link will appear in the footer of every page so that you can review and change your choices at any time.
If this changes
Before we add any technology that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will:
- update this policy and the Privacy Policy before the technology goes live;
- present a consent notice with the options “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” and “Manage preferences”, given equal prominence, so that refusing is as easy as accepting;
- leave every optional category switched off until you choose to switch it on;
- load nothing optional, and set nothing optional, until you have given consent for that category;
- remember your choice using only the minimum storage needed to remember it;
- keep a “Cookie settings” link in the footer so you can change or withdraw your choice as easily as you gave it; and
- make sure that refusing does not stop you reading the Website.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You do not need to change any setting to use this Website. If you wish to control cookies on other websites, all major browsers let you view, block and delete cookies in their privacy settings, and you can also use private browsing modes. Because the Website does not track you, browser signals such as “Do Not Track” and “Global Privacy Control” make no difference to how it behaves.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever the Website’s use of cookies or similar technologies changes, and before the change takes effect. The version, last-updated date and effective date are at the top of this page, and the history is on the Legal Information page.
